I seriously cannot believe it is August! The summer always flies by for me and the winter drones on and on. I am so excited to share Kristy and Andrew’s beautiful May wedding at the Lionsgate Event Center! I definitely consider myself a Lionsgate Wedding Photographer because when I really think about all the places I have worked, it is truly one of my favorites. It attracts a really awesome couples like these two and there’s a boundless amount of greenery and deep rich color which fill my cup with happiness in my work.

Speaking of filling my cup with happiness, Kristy and Andrew’s first look was one of my favorites to date. I love each and every frame from this moment and it melts my heart all over again to see the pictures. It was truly beautiful and they recall it as one of their most memorable moments of the day so I have included all of my favorite images it.

Kristy and Andrew’s advice to future couples’ is “Go with the flow and don't let minor problems bother you!” and they did just that. Although we had a massive rain storm (which was hardly a minor problem) right at ceremony time the two took it in stride and the ceremony was held in the Gatehouse in front of the gorgeous stained-glass window. At time I hoped the rain would let up, but looking back I wouldn’t change a thing about this wonderful day. The ceremony felt so intimate, and the warm tones inside were special. I was able to get angles that I love and wouldn’t have been able to with an outdoor ceremony and the rain stopped afterwards and we were able to take photos outside in the lush, lush green environment created by the storm.

I will never forget how Kristy and Andrew made a true point to celebrate with their family, wedding party and other friends or what an awesome dance party it was. This day was filled with laughs, tears, joy, excitement and more and I couldn’t be happier for Mr. & Mrs. Lay! Congrats you two on such a glorious wedding day and a more glorious marriage!
